Wanted to share this with those of you who have LOs the same age as mine.

For my DD when she gets older, I'm making an heirloom quilt out of pieces cut from her clothes as she grows up. I'm also doing a Bridges of Madison County type deal by writing letters to her that she'll get when she becomes a mom or gets married. My version is going to be filled with all the lessons my mother should have taught me about life, but failed to do so for whatever reason.

What do you think? Are any of you doing anything similar for your LOs? If you decided to tell your children about your life before them, is there anything you'd leave out?
