long story short, my 3 yr old tryed to jump in the lake --in new school clothes after 3 times in the wash once with arm&hammer detergent the top still smells like rivermud its clean but how do i fget it to smell like detergent again?

Soaking clothing in equal parts vinegar and water will often remove odors.

Try washing in baking soda. -
Add some baking soda to the water, or vinegar

You might need to look up how to strip clothes.

I agree with what everyone else said. And none of that works, get Nature's Miracle (from the pet section). That should definitly do the trick
