Toddlers & Preschoolers
I want to get done early this year since I will be very pregnant in December. I have a two year (3 in January) old that LOVES anything with wheels so remote control car, race track, and cars are a given. I can't think of much else that he would really like. Any suggestions on what an almost 3 year old boy would enjoy playing with. It doesn't have to be anything big or fancy.

A v-tech "laptop" (toy story)
Hot wheels and track
Duplo blocks
Candyland and Don't Break the Ice Games
Playdough sets

What I do is make an online wish list like at Walmart and then go from there.

We do the same thing for a variety of stores that we usually go too for the kids. Works easier and much faster.

Sounds bad, but have you tried taking him to the store and seeing what he gravitates towards?
We do that with DD1 to see what she REALLY wants (she's the type that says she wants everything on TV so things are easier for her physically in the store). -
they have wooden trucks you can paint , or you ca put together,

Yes, he always wants to play with the cars, bulldozers, etc. He has soooooo many vehicles though that I want to try to diversify a little. He also likes the mobigo they have set up for them to try but I am not sure I am ready for video games yet.

My ds will be 4 Jan 3rd and he loves those imaginex sets.
