I just found out I am pregnant a few days ago! I am 4 weeks today. The cramping is horrible only in my vaginal area not like menstrual cramps. Is this normal?

It can be. There's no real way to know exactly what that is this really on.
    Congratulations!
And WOW! I never know until I'm at least 5 weeks, usually six. I have a long cycle, so waiting until AF is late means not finding out at 4 weeks.

I didn't find out quite that early, so I don't remember if I had cramping around what would have been 4 weeks.

But I had vaginal cramping the whole first trimester. It wasn't like menstrual cramps at all, like you said. And it throbbed so bad I felt like my vagina might just fall out of my body...I feel for you girl.
