I have had two freestanding birth center births and one hospital births. No home births. -

Home birth, I had one with my third and can't wait to have another home birth next year.
I had a hospital birth with my second and never ever again.

We are planning our first home birth. I feel safer at home then in the hospital and I know my midwives are way more educated then an OB about normal childbirth.
