Last night, I had brownish discharge for about 45 min and now it has stopped..no contractions yet? Could this be the beginning?

You cant mistake a mucus plug, it is a big ball of snot

Sometimes is will come out in pieces and it can be mistaken as just discharge. How far along are you? Sounds like bloody show to me but if you arent full term, call your doc. Otherwise, keep waiting ;) It could also just be irritation from sex or cervixal checks. -
It can come out in pieces, but usually women bleed A LOT run by the er and check or hang out labor usually starts within 24-48 after looking it -
