These stories I'd never reccomend to a client.

I should have specified :) Thanks for asking!! I'm looking into all options of labor and delivery.  When I gave birth to my son 4 years ago, I was young and and naive and just went with the flow... I surely wasn't happy with the experience and I'm researching as much as I can before we make our final decisions.  

So any documentaries that show different labors and deliveries.  I'm not interested in anything that's like "A Baby Story" on TLC.

Having some exposure to childbirth ( real, not movies/TV ) can really help moms to understand what to expect. I love books, birth classes, doulas, support groups-- whatever helps moms to feel most confident and informed.

For those who haven't seen real birth, I thought I'd connect you to this site. There are many videos & there are options to choose how graphic you want them to be.

Birth Day is a beautiful short video (not the TV show) about a woman having a homebirth in a lush, tropical location. So pretty. Seriously, I'm literally tearing up thinking about it!!

Gentle Birth Choices (also a great book) is a nice video showing a few births with some interviews.

• Posterior - Back of babies head is against mom's spine... optimally, babies face is against mom's spine.
