Hi Everyone!

My hubby and I have some summer plans made and I am curious as to what everyone out there does for sunscreen?

My LO will be in the 3-5 month range during the summer months and is technically too young for sunscreen. Obviously I will be keeping her in the shade, with a sun hat on and all of those good things... but I guess I am still slightly paranoid.  I don't plan on keeping her inside all of the months we are very active and both DH and I participate in outdoor sport teams in the summer.

Has anyone ever made their own sunscreen? I have been seeing recipes for it all over the place lately!

Sun BLOCK is fine for infants, the active ingredients are zinc oxide and titamium dioxide and they are not absorbed by the skin, they form a thin layer on the skin that reflects the suns rays and helps keep the skin cooler

We use california baby and take frequent breaks from the sun. We wear hats.
