Babies
My daughter is 7 months old. She has lost a pound in one month. She is almost just over twelve pounds. She was IUGR for a while when I was pregnant with her. One of my sons did this. They just said he has FTT and never tested him. He is 3 1/2 and 23 LBS. I know something is going on with them, but the doctors keep saying to wait and see. Anyone else been through this? What do I do? I am worried.

Unless you are specifically eliminating milk in all forms from your diet, you are almost certainly still consuming milk. Other than the obvious: cheese, yogurt, butter/margarine, chocolate, ice cream; it's in tons of other processed foods, dressings, seasonings, etc.
Also, formula is milk based unless you're buying something special.Quoting Kenre:
My oldest is allergic to milk. We use other things. She is both formula and breast milk.
Quoting larissalarie:
Do you breastfeed or formula feed?
My first thoughts are tongue tie/lip tie and milk protein intolerance. -
What about the tongue tie? Has baby been evaluated for one? That can cause low weight. The breastfeeding group could really help you with that.

We are completely milk free.
