I know parenting isn't one thing or another but of those two, which is closer to your parenting style?

I'm more laid back than strict.
I don't want him to feel forced into anything, even important things.
Bubba is only 2, but my philosophy is mostly non-coercive parenting, but I'm also not afraid to set some hard boundaries if I feel it's really necessary.
So far he is extremely good at knowing boundaries just by me explaining things to him, and gently guiding him away.
He's also excellent at taking turns which everyone says is really mature.
