Moms of boys: Would you pierce your son's ears?
October 13, 2012 at 4:23 AM

I have seen young boys wearing earrings.

Would you pierce your sons ears? Allow it if they asked?

No. I don't like pierced ears on boys. And DD won't get hers pierced until she is old enough to ask.

No. But mine is less than a year old. Maybe when he gets older. I really just hope he doesn't ask. I don't like it.

Not until he was old enough to ask for it.

If he asked I probably would.

But, I don't want him to have a cell phone or other electronics until at least 14.

I have my standards, you have yours lol

I wouldn't allow my son to get his ears pierced, but I do know boys that have them done. It's just the choice of the parents and the child I guess.

No. I think it's very tacky. I hate feeling that way but there it is.

My ds is now 7 years old and this was an argument I had with my dad on numerous occasions. He doesnt like boys having ears pierced. I on the other hand think its very cute :) Ill let him decide when he is older though.

My son wanted his ear pierced when he was 8 he begged & begged for weeks, so we let him...2 weeks later he took it out.. He's 15 now and doesn't have any piercings. Thank God. If it had been something permanent like a Tattoo we would have said no.
