Advice for Moms
And like on monday i was expirencing weid cramps that felt like my cylce cramps but period is not due til the 11th. So i chalked it up to constaption which has been happening quite a bit.
So on thursday i took my last test just to see what it said after having those cramps. I saw right in front of me the faintest of lines of a plus sign. I called my ob and told them what i saw and the nurse said its to early to test so wait til u miss period. I never told dh on this test as i want to be sure first.
Well today i bought another pregnancy pack(2tests). I took one out as soon as i got home and put my boys down for nap. I watched the test and the faint line got darker just within those two days. Now i am thinking i am and the test line got darker than the last one or i am thinking i really want it and my body is playing tricks on me and those are false tests.
So now i am wondering shoulf i tell dh about the tesr today or pretend i dont know anything and act the sameas before the tests.
I plan on waiting and test again on the 11th and see what the result is, and if its positve i will make my appt for the end of january so we can hear heartbeat or do a vag ultrasound to ser and get the due date.
What do u think ladies. If i am so far no horrible symptoms like nausea or cravings yet. But i am getting heartburn. If i am i am hoping for our daughter

I wouldn't say anything until you are actually late and have tested the last time.

I think it depends on your relationship with your husband. If you feel comfortable sharing everything, then by all means share this. Good luck!

A positive is positive, no matter how light. That nurse was.. stupid, for a lack of a better word. You can't get a false positive from testing too soon.

Bfp is a bfp no matter when you take it. Congrats! You're having a baby. Go tell dh and make your ob appointment. -

I would go on the assumption that I was pregnant and take vitamins and especially folic acid. If you are smoking stop. Eat healthy and take it easy till everything settles in place. I would wait till dh is home after you are late and do the test then. Good luck and hope you have the girl you want.

Imo take it or leave it.... Take a digi. No mistake there and personally if its a blue dye test, they are terrible at giving false positives. I personally like frer. You dont have to wait till you miss your period. With all of mine (only one made it to term) I always tested before af due date. They just like the missed period as a def sign.. Id wait till I had a digi in hand with the word preggo on it before telling your hubby. But usually they pickup on it before you do if they are paying attention.
