Who's thinks Christian radio is wrong for spouting right-wing politics?
January 3 at 1:28 PM

When we moved I was so sad about giving up our old church. We found another, but I kept hearing politics from the pulpit. It broke my heart. Now all I hear on Christian radio is crazy right wing politics, not even fact-based information. It used to be so nurturing and helpful. I don't get why Christian radio has become equated with a political view. A very particular, self-righteous one that happens to match Republican.

You don't get it, or you don't want to acknowledge that it is related? IMO the right-wing and Christianity go hand it hand, typically if not stereotypically.I do get that you don't want to hear it on Christian radio networks. If I want political news I would like to search it out for myself.

I think it is wrong. They want to be political, even in the face of the "Separation of Church and State" phrase. I wouldn't listen to Christian radio anyway. Or go to a "right wing" church. They can warp your mind.

Report the church to the IRS and get their non-profit status revoked!

Christian based radio isn't tax exempt if they receive monies from advertising. Christian based isn't the same as Christian tax-exempt.

Liberals failed at radio.  I guess because they were expected to pay for it.

If you want to listen to left wing radio tune into NPR...

I have always believed that our faith and religion should be held above our politics in how we live our lives, but now it has become such a grey area.

Historically this has not been the case in the USA.  Right-wing conservatives in the days of yore (i.e. - when I was a teenager) used to have very little interest in discussing religion and generally took a live and let live approach to the subject.

IMO it would be great if we went back to the days when religion and political views were not so closely linked.

The "separation of church and state" works both ways. They either need to STOP with the political crap OR pay taxes and go for it!

I'm sorry you can't find something that has meaning for you. I have been searching for a meaningful connection for years, ever since the Catholic Church was exposed as pedophile heaven! (No pun intended).
