Why does the debate matter?
Will it give people a clearer picture of the policies being touted by both sides and therefore enlighten voters better?
Or is it to see if the better debater can win an hour show and therefore make the righteous feel better about their party?

It really only matters for the voters that are truly undecided and looking to them to make a choice.

No problem with it Pood. When you don't have to worry about the truth it's easy to talk off the cuff and that's what Romney did. Now his false statements are coming apart at the seams. This is not a done deal, and no it certainly doesn't "hurt" to hear it. It makes me laugh because you all are so easily lead.
