I like chobani (Choban means shephered in Turkish by the way, I always thought it must be a company with Turkish owners), but what I really love is the Brown Cow's cream top plain yogurt. I like my yogurt plain and my kids love that stuff too. My mom used to make yogurt, but she is not around anymore so I can't ask her for her recipe.

It's 1000x better than yoplait
I tried Yoplait's Greek Yogurt once and I hated it. Absolutely hated it.
I'm wanting to give greek yogurt another try though. I'm going to try the Choboni this time around though. Any flavor suggestions? Or is it any better than the Yoplait brand?

For the yogurt or for the pizza dough?
Could you post the recipe?
I found a recipe on pinterest for pizza dough that is one part greek yogurt to two parts flour, no other ingredients. I might try this tonight.

I have tried Greek Yogurt a few times and don't like it. I don't know if it's the brand but I found it "bitter". (I guess that is the best word I could use)

So last night I was making the weekly yogurt batch when, after heating the milk, I realized we were totally out of starter yogurt.
So I checked the freezer and we had some ice cream in there, frozen yogurt kind. Sure enough it said "live cultures" on the package so I thought, what the hey.....give it a try?
And yep, the store bought frozen yogurt desert can be used as a starter for home made yogurt. It worked great!
Just thought I would share.
