I made purple mashed potatoes for dinner last night...any other fun things or tips to make dinner time more entertaining?

My kids are pretty good eaters but last night I was feeling silly so I added a couple drops of blue and a couple drops of red food coloring into the mashed potatoes. It was a big hit! I thought it might be fun to start doing random odd things every once in a while for my kids. Today I used giant cookie cutters on their PB&J sandwiches and they loved that too.

Can you think of any other fun things to do?

 Sounds fun...I'd probably have trouble watching them eat it.  Weird stuff makes me gag.

My kids....if they don't like the way it looks they don't eat it lol so no help here the closest i get is Dino shaped pbjs.sorry

we make pb&j sushi rolls. DS loves them. cut off the crusts, flatten the bread with a rolling pin and spread the pb&j, roll and cut.
