Me and hubby are trying to pick a name. He suggested Clayton..I like how it's different and nature like sounding.

by muse76April 24, 2013 at 10:50 PMI personally have a bad name association with it, but it's actually kind of a nice name and one you don't hear too often. So, overall, I like it.
It's okay... but unlike Lapis, I really dislike the nickname of Clay. I used to know a guy named Clay Mann. Clay man. Wtf? lol
My aunt's brother's name is Clayton, and they almost never call him Clay, so if you could get away without using the NN that would be a fine name IMHO.

I have a nephew named Clayton, it's a cute name. He is never called Clay, although now that he is getting older, what....17 now, I guess it could happen if he likes it shortenend.
