Convection oven tips?

I just got my first convection oven.  It has an autoadjust mechanism so that automatically converts a recipe's bake time to a convection setting, but I'm wondering if there is anything else I need to know about using this type of oven.

Any tips?

I've been using mine a couple weeks now.  Cookis seem to bake in less time, are a bit crisper and spread less.

I've used the convection roast just once for a chicken and was disappointed that it didn't brown better.

The cook time will decrease- they can be noisy.

Thanks!!  I have an LG that when in convection mode automatically adjusts normal cook temps to convection temperatures. Thank goodness, because having to do the math to convert would strain my brain!!

And it is much quieter than my old range.  I am on propane and that sucker used to sound like it was going to explode every time it would heat up!!  LOL!
