my cookies always seem to mush together.
or stick together when put in the oven.

How far apart are you spacing your cookies when you put them on the cookie sheet? You may just be placing the cookies to close together. Try placing your cookies approx 2" apart and see if that helps. It works for me every time. Good luck.
