We don't have an eat-in kitchen here.  Our one-and-only table is in the dining room/salon.

When we did have an eat-in kitchen we ate most meals there and used the dining room for Shabbat meals and when we had company.

meh depends how you see it - do I have an eat-in kitchen or a dining room ... either way I only have one table and this is where we eat.  Although DD has picked up the habit of eating upstairs in her room ...
