Hi. My middle son told me this yesterday and looks over at my friend and says, "I didn't mean to call you stupid." I own Spare Hands Cleaning Service in Webster, TX, and this is a busy week for me. Turns out school is out for the whole week and I have been blessed with work for my contractors and I needed to help with two new people on board recently. He understood after explaining it all. Thanksgiving dinner is all planned out so everything will be great tomorrow. The kids get to go see Moody Garden's light show tonight and they are excited about that. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Nope. I have off work at the same time my kids are off from school.

I couldn't afford it, but that's okay. I've got three little sets of "spare hands" to help me get things cleaned and ready. :) Happy Thanksgiving!

I have never hired a cleaning service. I see no reason to pay someone to do something I am perfectly capable of doing myself. I also used to clean my father's apartment so he didn't have to re someone. Since I have moved - he has hired someone recommended by his apartment manager....seems to be working out ok for him.

We are, but not specifically for the holidays. Rough year, so my in laws are paying for a cleaning service to help me get back on top of things here. -
Uh...no. My $$ is spent on necessities.

I can't afford it but if I could I would. I see that is also a job and if they are willing to do it why not? Plus a little extra $ in some cases translate to a happier holiday.
