Yes I mange a small pizzeria they have been going there for 5 years now. I will put them to work lol. My 11year old will do dishes after school and the 9 year old will fold boxes little miss sassy the 6 year old will keep her brothers in line. They need to learn to work im a single mom so they will need to know these skills. Can't have them taking after their father who is the opposite. -
We find it important for the kids to know where we work in case they ever need to find us or tell someone where to find us. They know daddy is on location a lot and that he works in oil & gas. And as for me they know where the office is that I help out in occasionally and they know about my business. Of course my business runs out of my house so the kids are pretty familiar with all of the workings. They tell their little friends when they come over why they can't go in the garage(my reloader setup) and they love when we get packages in the mail. Always something new and fun. My 6 year old even knows what hazmat stickers look like so he knows which packages he cannot touch. A family business is fun and the kids have learned a lot even at their young ages. I cannot imagine my kids NOT knowing what we do for a living.
