Do you have a medical power of attorney for yourself? Are you a POA for anyone else?

i don't and i'm not...my mom had POA for my daughter the year i was still in GA finishing college and janae was here tho...i've been meaning to draw up a living will for months now but i keep forgetting :(

I don't. Legally, my husband is my POA and I am his. Of course, that can always be fought in court.

yes, because we do not get along with hubby's family we had our lawyer draw up formal POA paperwork. My husband has it for me and I for him and both of us for the kids. We also have an addendum that stipulates that in the event that something happens to both my husband and I my Father then has POA for both of us and my Aunt (who is all of our kids Godmother) has POA for all our kids with the side note that she is to discuss and document all decisions with all family members on my side before a final decision is to be made. His parents will be informed but will have no authority in the decision making. His sisters will not be informed or included in any discussions per our wishes.
