Hot Flashes?
June 19, 2013 at 12:45 AM

Hello,

I am brand new to this forum.  I am 44 (phew) and I have a 7 year old son and a 5 year old daughter.  I was wondering if any of you have experienced hot flashes.  I get these horrible hot rushes throughout my body a few times a day, to the point where I am sweating and red in the face.  Then it goes away and I am cold again.  I am thinking this is menopause.  I am feeling really old, like an old mommy, and don't know how to feel and look younger.  Well, that's another post, probably.

Hi - thanks for posting this.  I'm a tad older than you but was wondering about menopause. I'm looking at the link to see if I have any symptoms now.  I've got 4 kids - 24, 22, 21 and 3.  LOL  Being an older mom can sometimes take it out of you as well.  I swear that the boys didn't have the energy of the girl (boys are in their twenties, girl is the 3 year old) does.  LOL  Good think the boys adore their younger sister and can come and play with her when she's worn me out!!!  :)
