Just one more week until Thanksgiving. Is it just me or is Black Friday losing its meaning as more and more stores are starting their sales on Thursday night at around 8pm?

I think more stores are losing it with the earlier hours now

I agree that more stores are losing it. I also think that the stores are having a harder time getting people to shop because the economy has been bad for quite a few years. I wish it could go back to the way it was when I was a kid. I would love to have a yummy Thanksgiving dinner with my family and then settle down to watch The Wizzard of Oz on TV. Ah, those were the days.
