I cook a big meal at least once a week, usually more.
Tonight its a treat of fried pork chops, rice, gravy, turnip greens, and biscuits. With butter and jams, giaridinare (spicy pickled veggies) and of course crystal hot sauce that my family puts on everything. Iced tea to drink.
Its true that sometimes cooking can just be a waste.
3 days ago it was meatloaf and all the trimings! but haven't cooked since then, lol, over the weekend I will make another big meal. with 4 adult kids and one little picky eater it's hard to know just when I should go all out and make a good, large, wholesome dinner
