I want everyone to send me a strange ingredient that would be out of the norm to see used in a cake/cupcake recipe, or even as a garnish for a cake, cupcake or cake pop.

Ingredients sent to me will be chosen at random and posted. I want you to find a cake recipe, or make one if you'd like, using the secret ingredient. Post it once you have it, and we will take a poll. The winner will be posted in a Special Ingredient Recipe sticky for people to try out when feeling adventurous!
