If you were challenged by the hurricane did you do anything special that included your crock like feed your neighbors, keep soup going, or even create all your meals in your crock since you had limited power abilities. What about creating our of your pantry since you couldn't go shopping?? I would love to hear your tales!!

we weren't effected much thankfully during hurricane Sandy and sadly I haven't used my crock pot since my son's bday weeks ago when we made mac n cheese and kept it warm in there.

I am a west coaster so also not affected but I did do a BBQ shredded pork last week as well as a first course soup oh yeah and some red beans and rice using a kilbasa type beef sausage
