Hey everyone, my husband was just offered a job in Alaska. Valdez to be exact, we are flying out next weekend to visit and see if we like it...if we do, we will be moving up there. We are from Utah, have lived here our whole lives so this is going to be a different but good experience i think :)

I have only been to Valdez once. It is really out of the way so many people don't go there on a regular basis. It gets a lot ( L O T ) of snow! that's all I know for sure.

Valdez is beautiful!!! Little rough on the winters and lots of miscitos in the summer but an absolutly gorgouse and small little town. Its worth it!
