I don't have fibro, but have friends who have it, however I think they developed it after their children were born.
I'd definitely talk to your doctor about your concerns, and if it's possible that your fibro might go into remission during pregnancy
hello, I'm a 26 yr old mother suffering from horrible fibromyalgia. My husband and I want to try again but we are both worried how being pregnant will effect my fibromyalgia. I've had it all my life but it was only mild until I had my son who is now 2. Some days it borders on debilitating. I'm in pain from head to toe 24/7 never have I felt otherwise so I can deal with that part. But I am also on a lot of medication. Since having my son kicked it into overdrive I'm worried having another might elevate it further. My hubby is very suportive and understands my disease, and also this doesnt hold back my son b/c i still get down and play with him and take him out and all that good stuff even when I feel like im dying. Im stubborn in not letting this disease keep me from having the family ive always dreamed. Im also getting ready to see a specialist and check on medications before hand. Because i couldnt walk with out them, so must make sure they are safe for baby.Does anyone have fibromyalgia that has went through a pregnancy or has more than one small child?

I am currently dealing with this and it is HELL! Since I found out I was preg. I had to stop ALL meds and the pregnancy has caused my body to reject EVERYTHING unnatural even soap and shampoo burn me. I cant eat much and what I can eat hurts so bad going down that I hate eating. I am starting my 6th month and I cant wait till its over. I havent been able to drive at all since it began because of migraines and random muscle spasms, I have days where even breathing hurts so bad I want to crawl out of my skin. I am so exhausted its crazy and at times even hearing people talk or a plastic bag making noise will send me into fits of vomiting for hours. . It been horrible since the beginning to the point I have been hospitalized twice for dehydration and my DH and I were considering terminating because of how far down it has taken me. This is baby #3 and this is the first time all of this happened. My doc says there isnt anything they can do to help and we have to wait and see if it gets better after baby but I am already planning a hysterectomy asap after baby I am so done.
