im curious bc my stbxfil is in declining health and he really wants dd baptized (he wants to be there) and i see nothing wrong with it. i believe there is a higher power but i dont go to church or anything... but he would be so happy to see her baptized and i want to do this for him.... but i have no clue how to even go about this... dd is 2.5 going to be 3.

Depends on the church. You would have to call and ask. Not all churches do child baptisms. Just call whichever church you are wanting her to be baptized at and ask. -
Depends on the church really. Catholic churches do many child baptisms. I know in other denominations, they do not like to baptize children because they feel do not understand the significance of it. Many contemporary churches will baptize children. Some of them even have a little class they can take before. You will have to go around and see what churches will do this for you.

Some aren't allowed out of a holy building, others are, again it depends -
thanks ladies... it would be lutheran. he is lutheran and thats what he wishes dd to be baptized as. i am doing this for him.. im not overly relgious
