My friend is throwing me a baby shower and she told me she is doing it all at her house. I have never had a baby shower before and I don't know what to expect. I am so nervous that all these people are coming for ME. I don't want to be the center of attention. I really hope it goes well. Any advice for me?

Just relax and enjoy it! I was freaking out before both of my baby showers, but they were a blast! If your hubby is willing, bring him with you. It takes some of the attention off you and focuses it on both parents.

they don't last that long and it is worth it when you get all you need for your baby. I hate showers (hated my bridal shower, hated baby showers but wound up having two thrown for me due to the "everone is staring at me" factor). Be happy someone cares enough to throw you one, some women don't get one at all.
