Well DS is fine. He's in KG so, no bus.
It usually takes 10 minutes to drop them off.
DH is at work by the time we leave at 7am.
I was wanting to just let DD stay in bed in the morning, but can't get anyone to come stay at the house.
Would you leave her sleeping (home alone) or wake her and have her ride along?
(I'll wake her, but I just wanted your opinions too.)

At 8 years old I would never leave my child alone.....she'd get bundled up, have a zip-top Baggie in hand in case she needed to throw up, and go along for the ride.

I wouldn't leave her! I would take her with too. Especially if she's really sick, you just never know what could happen in that short of time. Do you have any close neighbors that you trust to sit at your house or maybe find someone that can drop your son off for you.
January 10, 2013 at 10:42 PMShe IS coming. We live across the street from the school ( sorta) we can see it out our window. It's a 10 minute process.
My DH wanted me to just leave her, but I couldn't do it.
So, up she'll get. I just wish someone could stay with her.
January 10, 2013 at 10:45 PMI have to work. DD is coming with me at 10. My office is quiet, I will be the only one there from 10-4, but, I can't do both kids. So as long as DS is still okay, he's going.
Regardless I'm waking her up, just wish I didn't have to.
I would keep your son home since tomorrow is Friday. He could also get the virus as well or be a carrier to other children. If you keep him home she can stay in bed.
January 10, 2013 at 10:47 PMI'm glad I'm not a crazy person for considering it.
I decided against if, but thanks for reminding me I'm not horrible for wanting her to get her sleep.
At eight, for ten minutes I would leave my sick child at home in bed.
Leave your cell phone number. But, yes I would leave my eight year old home ten minutes.
