There was another school shooting today. In Taft, California.
Kind of ironic that no one is talking about it.
Why not?? Cause these kids who got shot aren't as important or something?? Or does it just not fit the agenda of those who are trying to make other points right now??

Because Taft is so small. I doubt any major station has even heard of Taft. Plus like someone else said not as many hurt. -
i have seen two posts on here abt it today while i have been on and off, it is on the news, and there are multiple stories online at known websites

Its not a big story because one student was hurt, And a counselor and teacher were able to talk the other student into stopping. So its not as big as a bunch of hurt students...sick..

It's because twenty students and six adults weren't killed. There are shootings every day all over the country. No way it could all be cOvered. N -
As scary as it is.. nobody is likely talking about it because the debates about guns are going on today.. and this isn't a semi automatic or an automatic weapon that was fired..(so yes, in this sense, I can see the irony)
and while people were injured, some severally.. nobody has died, unlike many of the other shootings that have taken place so recently.

Do you even live near Taft? I grew up living 45 min from there. I really think it has to do with the fact the town is tiny and like only 2 people got injured.
