What is the most money you have gotten back on your income tax?

For me it was $10,000 that was State taxes included.

holy crap I think the most we got was like 5K one year, we barely break 2k anymore and with me working this year I dont know if we will get much of anything back. But 10K...wow

Like $13,000 when we adopted my daughter because there is a credit that gives you a few thousand back when you adopt.
