im going to make a bacon fried turkey
Happy thanksgiving! That looks delicious, but my husband would have a fit ( he hates bacon). I made:
Honey brown sugar ham
Seasoned salt turkey
Brownie cupcakes with hazelnut frosting
5 cheeses macaroni and cheese
Garlic butter carrots
And chive & tarragon mashed potatoes
by SchleetleNovember 22, 2012 at 12:22 AMThat's crazy the way that turkey looks. Lol Anyway we are doing a low key meal just the five of us. Stuffed mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie.
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Green beans with cheese
Artichoke dip and crackers
Apple pie with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce
I feel like I'm forgetting something.......it's just my daughter and I this year so I'm not doing any of the traditional stuff that she doesn't like anyway.
Ew. I'm all anti-bacon. It makes me nauseous. Bleh.
We are doing:
Regular mashed potatoes
Cheddar mashed potatoes
A bunch of different veggies
We also have 2 Pumpkin Cheesecakes (did one for the first time last year and almost had to stab someone just to get a piece), 3 pumpkin pies, and 2 apple pies.
There are gonna be 15 ppl here this year. My DF cooks almost everything.
Turkey roasted Rosemary
Ham pineapple with honey sugar topping
green beans with pearl onions
green bean cassorole
yams with marshmallows
pumpkin pie and cherry and bean pie

Sweet Potato Casserole
Green Bean Casserole
Panettone Bread Pudding with Amaretto Sauce
Oreo Cream Pie
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
Green Beans and Ham (my mom makes them specially combined. Otherwise I don't do green beans)
Pistachio Salad (not sure on the spelling)
5 cup Salad
Cranberry sauce (no one else in my family eats it and I'm ADDICTED to it. How it never gives me the runs is beyond me)
and of course...Pumpkin Pie.
