When should I see a Doctor about abnormal periods?

Hi. I have 3 children. My youngest is 10 months and I had my first period since having him last month. The period was very normal. For some reason with this period I had been bleeding or spotting for the last 10 days. Can't be pregnancy because I had a tubal, and yes I know you can still get pregnant by a slim chance. Wth! My 2nd child I had an emergency DNC 6wks post due to heavy bleeding but I'm not bleeding heavy with this one either. It's just unusually long. Any thoughts?

I would call and see if they want to see you right away or if it can wait until yearly which I am presuming would be around baby's 1st birthday.
