I think it's an over exaggerated jab at moms or women who call babies hot or anything that would be applied to an adult. I think saying a baby is cute, adorable, handsome or saying he'll be a heart breaker is fine. I do think it crosses a line when you call the baby hot, fine, or anything else you'd call a grown man.

Yeah this exactly,I have heard people refer to their toddlers as "sexy"and it just rubs me the wrong way.
