I read the books (all 3) and it not only did nothing for my marriage (man it would be sad if I need a book like this to "help" my marriage) but it was also such a major waste of time. The first book was horrible but I thought "maybe it will be better in the second book". Nope. At that point I had nothing else to read and when something is a trilogy I tend to have this strange need to read the last book even if I don't like the series. The third was the worst one of all. I don't understand this obsession with this book. Why would any woman want a crazed controlling abusive stalker?

Considering we were already living a D/s marriage, no. But I did like the books!

Read it, didn't change anything. My DH and I practiced bedroom submission way before the book.
