If that was the case then I wouldnt ask your opinion and i would just tell you when to be ready.

It bugs me when I ask my husband a question such as, "What would you like for dinner, blank or blank," and he responds with, "K." I don't mind if I say, "I'm going somewhere for this or that," or, "Would you make coffee?" But when I ask him a direct question, or something that needs an explaination, "k." Just doesn't do it for me.
