Claire and her husband knew from their first date that they would someday want to adopt a child from China, but their journey to parenthood was hardly that straightforward.

There were years of infertility, a devastating loss, and then stacks and stacks of paperwork and bureaucracy to wade through before they finally welcomed their daughter home.

And that wasn't the end of the story - there was another surprise in store for the family! Watch to find out what happened!

We adopted our yougest daughter from China in 2010.  She is now 3 1/2 years old.  We waited over 4 years - lodged our paperwork in April 2006 and travelled to China in July 2010!  It took us over 8 years from start to finish including the assessment and training prior to submitting our paperwork to China!  Lovely story!
