My dd was nominated by her teacher for a program called People to People Student Ambassador. If she's picked (chances are slim) she would go to Either Whales, Ireland or Scotland for the summer. Kinda like a foreign exchange student. I don't have all the details yet as I still have to go to the Information meeting in November. The cost of the trip is somewhere between $4000 and $8000. would you let your 14 year old go?

It really depends on all the details. Where she is staying, with whom..etc.

But yes, if I had the money and it all sounded good, I would let her go.

If there was proper supervision and I had the money - yes. What an opportunity!

As long as I could afford it (and I would likely find a way somehow), yes.

No. I wouldn't be at all comfortable shipping my teenage daughter off to another country all alone.

Haven't you seen "Taken"?! Lol kidding!

It would depend on the details but maybe! It would be a great opportunity that I wouldn't want him to miss out on
