Not off of the ground/plants etc. but can he catch it on his tounge, sure. -
Although Ive never eaten snow and it sounds gross to me I allow my 7 year old to. Today her and her 14 year old sister made a small slushy. Yuck!

No, I do not. We live in the country and who know what may be laying just below that snow. ICK! The thoughts of anyone eating fecal matter or urine just makes me want to vomit.

My kids haven't asked. I ate snow as a kid but only off of my patio table. -
sure...just as long as the snow is white (not yellow, green or brown) lol

We'll take the top layer off of things and make snow ice cream when we get enough to do it. Usually we don't, but my mom got some with this big storm and made some snow ice cream for DD for when we pass through tomorrow.
