Elementary School Kids
Ds2 is playing Madden 2012 on the Wii w/ a friend. His friend complained about how the guy he tackled should've gone down, but didn't. Ds2 just calmly told him, "Life isn't always nice."
I don't know if I should be proud of him for that wise observation, or sad that he knows that at only 8 yrs old. Probably both. . .

Aww, I know, its so crazy seeing them all grown up!
Caden just turned 5. A few weeks back he told me that he wanted to go to college after he graduates elementary school LOL. But what he said next got tears to me.
He said he wanted to become an allergy doctor so him and his brother won't be sick anymore.
THey can be so sweet sometimes :).

I can attest to that. I grew up in a happy bubble and when life got real I got depressed. Luckily, I pulled out of it quickly.

A few weeks back dh got me a sandwich at the store and I realized when I got it that it had a cheese I didnt really like. So I was kinda grumbling about it. Dd 7, then tells me be thankful for what you have. I kinda laughed at that and I did eat it. Lol..
