I don't mind that I have to go to work, or my boys have school. I don't want to celebrate or give Christopher Columbus credit for something he didn't do anyway.

It was a typical day around these parts.  Kids had school and everyone that I know had to work today.  I work for our town government and everyone was there today.  One of the silliest holidays on record, if you ask me.

I live in the West Indies, but it's not a holiday here.
