What do you think of that lady?

Just curious.

What would you think if you saw a mother crocheting/knitting while waiting at her child's gymnastics/dance/etc. class?

1. 3% - She looks like an old lady./What poor soul is going to get that? / Does she think she's impressing us?/ What a loser!/etc.
2. 70% - That's cool./ I wish I knew how./I like to do that too./ etc.
3. 26% - I don't even notice or pay attention at all.

I would think that she's the kind of person who likes to keep busy and not just sit there.
Do you knit while your child is in gymnastics? What do you make?

I'd go up and talk to her! That's my favorite thing to do!!! I started when I was 23.

It would be in between not noticing and thinking it's cool.  I would notice because I notice pretty much everything around me.  I guess I would think it's kind of cool, but my reaction would be closer to "hmm, she's knitting" and that would be it.

I want to learn to knit...  I wish I had allowed my grandmother to teach me before she passed away.
