I went through that with my second child! It was really hard to clear up! A couple of questions. Are you puting the Nystatin on your niples also? I had to do that. The nystatin in his mouth and I also wiped out his mouth (inside) with a wash cloth. It helps to get the stuff off of the inside of his mouth. of course there was the sterilizing also!! good luck!!! -

You're not supposed to have it. Your supply has regulated. That's good.
OK. This *CAN* be beaten. Some resources for you: http://www.drjaygordon.com/development/bf/thrush.asp
>>A couple of weeks ago, I could pump 4-5 oz on each in 30 min no prob. Now I can only pump 2 oz on each!?! <<
Means nothing. Pumping output is never ever an indication of your supply.

Nystatin feeds the yeast. What my doc recommended...and it worked in one day: Lotrimin. Yep. The stuff you use for athlete's foot. It does have to be washed off before feeding, but it was incredibly fast. -

This woman knows her stuff!! She has helped me a lot! Anyway...what helped me was sitting in the backyard topless! I know...weird huh? BUT IT WORKED!! Everyday for 1 week, I sat outside and let the sunshine on the boobies, and that helped alot. I had thrush 3 times, and mastitis too many times to count. Just because your boobs don't feel full, does not mean that they aren't. Mine always feel empty, but they apparently full, because Joaquin gets enough at each feeding.>>My latest worry is that some how it is affecting my milk supply bc I dont ever have that "full" feeling anymore <<

Hi ...I used Lotrimin also but on the baby ..the diaper rash part of the yeast infec...If I had thought to also put it on my nipples but wash it off prior to feeding it probably would have cleared up a lot quicker...it worked great on baby booty!! Where were you when I needed you!! LOL>>My latest worry is that some how it is affecting my milk supply bc I dont ever have that "full" feeling anymore <<
