Question Of The Day November 6th

Here are some little know facts about where we vote when we do .

November was selected because the work of the harvest is done.
Tuesday was selected because people had to travel before reaching the polls
Since most people did not travel on Sunday because of religious reasons , they did not want it to be on Monday.
They did not want elections to fall on November first because it is All Saint Day
They did not want it to fall on the first of the month because storekeepers did they books from the preceding on the first of the month.
Election Day is after November 2th.
Election Day for 2016 is Tuesday  November 8th

So my question for you today is did you know all of this ?  No

If not which ones did you not know ?  I have to say most of it but the election was always after the 2th of the month and on Tuesday just because I have be voting for so long.

I did not know about all this.  That makes sense to vote after the harvest.  I wore my shirt with the red, white and blue stars today.
