Is scheduled for Thursday cd8 for me, I am excited and a little scared but I am hoping it will bring me my bfp

What's a cd8 and why do u have to take meds before that? -
Cd8 is just the 8th day in my cycle and a hsg is a procedure where they shoot dye into my tubes to see if they are blocked and it can be painfull for some women so its best to take some pain meds
