DH recently got a new job after leaving the Navy, and we are getting health insurance through his work. What is normal to pay for family health insurance monthly? Right now we are looking at $500/month, is that normal? Just wondering, thanks!

Yes that's pretty normal. We pay $400 a month, but before that it was $600

500 is low.......at least for here/us. for a family of 4, DH's job offered health insurance for about......680 a month. thats th elow one, the other one is about 1100 a month.

I think it's 170 twice a month that's for medical vision and dental for 3. And it just went up to that -
That seems about right for a family. My mom pays $130 biweekly for herself. -
When I was working full time. It was $150/mo for amazing health insurance. We now pay $280 a month for awful (by comparison) private health insurance.
I would double check what your private insurance rate would be -
yes! sounds like a good deal! I know my mom pays $900 a month for everything she has!

Yes it is normal for a lot of companies which is why we don't have any.
